Doctor Karen Pugh has been lovingly restoring, repairing, and
re-costuming dolls since 1979. She especially loves working on
pre-1950 antique dolls, "Shirley Temple" dolls, and
Madame Alexander dolls. As a professional member of the Doll
Doctor's Association, The Doll Artisan Guild, and the Madame
Alexander Doll Club, Karen specializes in antique doll
restoration and also works on a wide variety of dolls and
stuffed animals. The subject of numerous newspaper and magazine
articles regarding her craft, Karen has been featured in the
Doll Hospital Directory, on WBOC-TV (read
story here) and in the
Antique Trader magazine. She is known throughout the country for
her quality workmanship and as a professional restoration
